It measures wind speed, temperature, humidity, barometric pressure, and rain rate, and transmits its results wirelessly. Although it is attached to standard street furniture on a public street, it’s impossible to tell if it belongs to or is administered by the city or by a private entity, and other than the branding on the side, has no markings to indicate ownership or purpose.
